•          Graduated from Hanyang University with M.S in 1982, PhD in 1985.

•          Post Doc. at University of New South Wales in 1989.

 Professional Career

•        Researcher, Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information in 1978-1983

•        Exchange Researcher, Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute in 1992

•        Vice President, Korea Society of Chitin and Chitosan in 2004-2006

•        Director, Division of Industry and Environment, Korea Atomic Energy Research  Institute in 2006-2011

•        Chairman, Junbuk Science & Technology Commission.

•        Tenured Researcher from 2011 to now at Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute

Research Topics

•        Radiation modification of Polymer material using radiation crosslinking, grafting and degradation.

•        More than 250 papers were published, Over 70 patents were registered.
